3D Desktop - Display options

  • [Apply Window rotation animation] When this option is turned ON, the windows will animate in real-time when 3D minimize or Restore
  • [Apply Transparency for 3D effect] The 3D minimized window can be displayed transparent, if this option is turned ON
  • [Transparency amount] Select from 3 levels of transparency for 3D minimized windows
  • [Add Title bar tags on each 3D Window] The 3D minimized window will have a titlebar, when this option is turned ON
  • [Initial angle] Select the initial angle to be applied to the 3D Window
  • [Initial distance] Select the initial distance to be applied to the 3D Window

3D Desktop - Hot Keys

  • [Use hotkey to 3D minimize/Restore window] 3D minimize/Restore Hotkey is enabled, if this option is turned ON. Use the input control to customize the Hotkey.
  • [Use hotkey to 3D minimize all windows] 3D minimize all windows Hotkey is enabled, if this option is turned ON. Use the input control to customize the Hotkey.
  • [Use hotkey to restore all windows] The Restore all windows Hotkey is enabled, if this option is turned ON. Use the input control to customize the Hotkey.
  • [Use hotkey to show icon tray menu] Show menu Hotkey is enabled, if this option is turned ON. Use the input control to customize the Hotkey.

3D Desktop - Exclusion options

  • [Current List] The current list shows the available applications on the desktop.
  • [Exclusion List] The exclusions list shows the excluded applications. The 3D minimize effect is not applied on excluded applications.
  • [Show window class] The current list shows the available applications by class.
  • [Show window title] The current list shows the available applications by title.
  • [Update] Refresh the current list to show the available applications on the desktop.
  • [Insert] Insert the selected application from the current list into the exclusion list. The inserted application will be excluded from 3D minimize effect by class or by title.
  • [Remove] Remove the selected application from the exclusion list.

3D Desktop - Using sounds

  • [3D minimize window sound] T3Desk plays this wav sound when 3D minimize the window. Use the Browse button to select the file. Use the Play button to play the sound file.
  • [Restore window sound] T3Desk plays this wav sound when Restore the window. Use the Browse button to select the file. Use the Play button to play the sound file.

 

3D Desktop - Menus

To display the 3D window context menu you have to right click on the 3D window. The 3D window context menu commands:
  • [Restore] Restore the window to 2D.
  • [Options] Display the T3Desk options page to set the options regarding display, zooming, hot keys and sounds. Here you can also configure your 3D window animation, transparency effect, the 3D initial angle and distance, transition effects and more.
  • [Copy to Clipboard] Copy the 3D window image to Windows Clipboard. After this command you can PASTE the image into any image processing application.
  • [Close] Closes the window.

Application bars

To display the application bars please refer to Options [General\Actions] page.

[3D Window Button]
- Use this button to minimize any application to the 3D space.
- The button is placed in the upper-right area of your current application window.
- You can enable or disable this button in Options [General\Actions] page.

[TopBar]
- The TopBar lets you quickly access important features.
- The TopBar appear when you move the mouse in the upper-right area of your current application window.
- You can enable or disable the TopBar in Options [General\Actions] page.
- You can set the TopBar control and mouse over behavior in Options [General\Actions] page.
- When TopBar control option is enabled, the TopBar is displayed only if the CTRL key is pressed.
- When TopBar mouse over option is enabled, the TopBar creates the 3D Window when you move the mouse over the [3D Window] area.

[BotBar]
- The BotBar lets you quickly access important features.
- The BotBar appear when you move the mouse in the bottom-right area of your display.
- You can enable or disable the BotBar in Options [General\Actions] page.
- You can set the BotBar control and mouse over behavior in Options [General\Actions] page.
- When BotBar control option is enabled, the BotBar is displayed only if the CTRL key is pressed.
- When BotBar mouse over option is enabled, the BotBar displays the Windows module when you move the mouse over the [Windows] area. 

 

Using the Windows Module

[Mouse actions]
- [Switch to window] Use the left mouse button to select the window you want to switch to (bring it to the top).
- [Zoom to window] Use the right mouse button to set the view to show only the selected window.
- [Zoom to all windows] Use the right click on zoomed window to show all the windows.
- [Zoom to all windows] Use the right click outside of any window to show all the windows.
- [Dynamic ZOOM] Use the mouse wheel rotation (middle scroll wheel) to zoom IN and zoom OUT.
- [Dynamic PAN] Use the middle mouse buttom (wheel button) - press and drag - to pan the view.
[Toolbar]
- [Zoom Window] Set the view to show an area by selecting two points into the windows control.
- [Zoom Extents] Set the view to show all windows.
- [Zoom real scale] Set the view to see the windows at their real size.
- [Toggle Info] Shows or hides the information about the current view.
- [Restore All 3D] Restores all existing 3D windows to the previous (2D) positions and sizes.
- [Restore All Min] Restores all minimized windows to the previous positions and sizes.
- [Max All] Maximize all windows. This apply only to the windows that can be miximised.

Apps Module - Introduction

The new Apps Manager module lets you organize and quickly access your shortcuts to applications, websites, folders and files.
You can create and organize your shortcuts to applications by drag-and-drop.
- Apps module contains 12 tab pages. You can use the keyboard [F1 to F12] to switch to corresponding tab page.
- Every tab page contains 12 sections. You can use the keyboard [1,2, ...] to switch to corresponding section.
- Every tab section contains 36 tiles where you can create your shortcuts. You can use the keyboard [A,B, ...] to launch (run) the corresponding application.

Using the Apps Module

[Editing the items]
- [To Create tile App] Drag shortcuts from your Windows Shell [Desktop, Windows Explorer] into the tile.
- [To Edit tile App properties] Right mouse click on tile and select [Edit tile] command from the menu.
- [To Edit Section name] Right mouse click on section and select [Edit Section] command from the menu.
- [To Edit Tab name] Right mouse click on tab and select [Edit Tab] command from the menu.
[Accessing the items]
- [To Launch (run) a tile App] Use the keyboard [A,B, ...] to launch (run) the corresponding application.
- [To switch the section] Use the keyboard [1,2, ...] to switch to corresponding section.
- [To switch the tabs] Use the keyboard [F1 to F12] to switch to corresponding tab page.
[Ordering the items]
- [To move a tile App inside the section] Use mouse drag and drop to move the application to a different tile position.
- [To move a tile App to other section] Use mouse drag and drop - drag the application to section, then to tile position.
- [To move a section inside the tab page] Use mouse drag and drop to move the section to a different position.
- [To move a section to other tab page] Use mouse drag and drop - drag the section to the tab, then to section position.
- [To move a tab] Use mouse drag and drop to move the tab to a different tab position.
