Teslea is both an authoring tool and a browser dedicated to the World Wide Web. That is the reason why Teslea has been designed as an active client, i.e. a client that not only retrieves documents from the web and presents them to the user, but also an authoring tool that allows an author to create new documents, to edit existing ones and to publish these documents on remote Web servers. Teslea is under continuous and intense development and aim to be a better tool for communication and collaboration on the Internet or Intranet. Our goal is to provide better concurrency technology that helps people work and manage rich documents at the same time, communicate and edit together with richly formatted text, photos, graphics, and more. Nikola Tesla (10 July 1856 – 7 January 1943) was an inventor and a mechanical and electrical engineer. Tesla was born in the village of Smiljan near the town of Gospić, Austrian Empire, (today's Croatia). He was an ethnic Serb subject of the Austrian Empire and later became an American citizen. Tesla is often described as an important scientist and inventor of the modern age, a man who "shed light over the face of Earth". He is best known for many revolutionary contributions in the field of electricity and magnetism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Tesla was the genius who lit the world, whose discoveries in the field of alternating polyphase current electricity advanced the United States and the rest of the world into the modern industrial era.

Tesla or Teslea? Did you know?
According to some sources Nikola Tesla was an Istro-Romanian. His real name was Nicolae Teslea. His father was the Orthodox priest Milutin Teslea. The original name of the family was Draghici (a name common also in Romania) but changed with the nicname "Teslea", which in both Istro-Romanian and Romanian means bass (the carpenter's tool - in the picture). His family was one of carpenters. He was born in Lica province of Istria peninsula, which was compactly inhabited by Istro-Romanians since 15-16th centuries.
